Club Opening Times

Winter season (October - April)

The Club is open weekly from 9am until 10.30pm weekdays and 8.30am to 7pm weekends with catering and bar facilities being available throughout.

Summer season (May - September)

Opening is governed to meet the existing demands of the members: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9am to 12.30pm with Wednesday afternoon being allocated to Club matches

Dress Code

The following is required in accordance with the existing rules of the Club.

Dress for roll ups, club competitions and internal league matches will normally be grey trousers or skirts, white (with sleeves) above the waist and regulation white, brown or grey bowling shoes. Sandals may be worn at the user's own risk.

Bowling Activity

League games, regular bookings and drives are the backbone of the Club with weekday sessions every two and a half hours commencing at 9.30am until 10.30pm

Weekend sessions commence at 9am and likewise are two and a half hours until 2pm. Saturday and Sunday afternoons are dedicated to Club matches

Our bowling activities include 19 leagues, 10 club competitions, Junior club competitions, County and National Competitions plus weekend and mid-week matches. There are sessions for coaching, organised Drives, regular bookings and a reduced rate for practice on a mid-day period on a Wednesday. With 8 rinks fully utilised all members are well catered for.

Annual subscriptions: Adults £65, Juniors £15,  Social members £10

For members joining part way through the season, the subscription will be pro-rata'd.

New membership is not subject to a joining fee.

Room Hire         

The Club is also able to offer the use of its Committee room(s) / training room for hire to outside organisations / private functions with full use of flip charts and viewers at a reasonable rate. Our caterer will also be pleased to meet your needs.
